On August 1, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited Andhra Pradesh and launched several new development projects. He said that good roads, airports, and other public facilities are important for the growth of a state. He also said that the Central and State Governments are working together to improve the lives of the people.
The Prime Minister inaugurated the Alluri Sitarama Raju International Airport at Bhogapuram. He said that the new airport will make travel easier and help increase tourism, business, and jobs in North Andhra.
During the visit, development projects worth about ₹18,000 crore were launched. These projects are related to transport, energy, industry, and technology. The government believes that they will bring more investment, create new jobs, and support the state’s economic growth.
The Prime Minister also spoke about the future of Andhra Pradesh. He said that the government is giving special attention to areas such as semiconductors, information technology, ports, and the blue economy. He expressed hope that these projects will create more opportunities for young people and help the state grow even faster.
